The artist from Granada is once again marking sonic territory with his latest single.
‘Yo Quisiera Ir a la Luna’ is a state of mind, a way of understanding and living the summer. Gone are the releases San Antonio and San Antonio II, but not their essence. This time, Antony decides to condense all that universe into a single song that is pure emotion and musical alchemy. In the same journey, there is room for the warmest reggaeton, a cumbia that seems to come from the memory, and a flamenco that beats in the chorus.
Produced by Antony Z himself with Toni Anzis, the hit starts with a classic bolero that dissolves into a kind of futuristic waltz. What follows is a reggaeton that dares to flirt with merengue. And the mix seduces. The beat moves, but there’s a hidden emotion that grows. Because although it starts with a festive energy, the track takes on a more melancholic tone, more contained, like that last day of holidays where the sun goes down a little slower and you know that something is coming to an end.
In short, “Yo Quisiera Ir a la Luna” tells in just three minutes a complete story that talks about long nights, salty skin and the mixture of joy and nostalgia that defines summers that are never forgotten.
And among other music news… We talk to Raya Diplomática, the queer-punk band of the moment.
