Rauw Alejandro prepares for the start of his European tour

After setting the United States and Puerto Rico ablaze with a tour that seemed straight out of a retro-futuristic thriller directed by a post-apocalyptic Latin lover, Rauw Alejandro is ready to unleash the Cosa Nuestra universe on Europe. This June 17th, the European leg of the tour kicks off at The O2 in London, and what’s coming is more than a series of concerts: it’s an aesthetic intervention, a reggaeton manifesto elevated to a total performance, an experience where the past, present, and future collide on stage.

What we saw in San Juan was barely a trailer. Pinstriped suits, dresses with a vintage sheen, a phone booth where you could talk to Rauw, mailmen in uniform delivering postcards as if they were relics from another dimension. All orchestrated with surgical precision to immerse you in the world of Cosa Nuestra: a blend of 90s nostalgia, noir fantasy, and Puerto Rican avant-garde. Now, that same concept is landing in key capitals like Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Madrid, and Barcelona, where the scenery will change, but the essence remains the same: equal parts theatricality, rhythm, rawness, and subtlety.

With a live band for the first time, he’s transformed his show into something more visceral and cinematic. The repertoire is carefully curated to combine his greatest anthems with new pieces that reimagine the island’s sound. “Carita Linda,” a sophisticated hit with the soul of a classic, and “Forni,” an experimental gem with Clarent, are just two of the weapons he has up his sleeve. If this tour has made anything clear, it’s that reggaeton can also have a script, atmosphere, wardrobe, and its own universe.

After breaking records in North America—with multiple sold-out shows at arenas like the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, the Barclays Center in New York, and the United Center in Chicago—the tour moves to Europe with the same momentum but a different sensibility. The key dates have already been set: London opens the cycle on June 17, followed by Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, three nights in Madrid, and two more in Barcelona. Everything indicates that this new phase will be as epic as it is intimate, as streetwise as it is refined.
