The Swoosh giant resurrects one of its most iconic silhouettes in a collaboration that transcends the field of play.
Nike has decided to join forces with Tiakola, the acclaimed French rapper, to launch a football shirt that fuses football, music and street culture with excellence under the slogan “Bienvenue Dans Le Milieu”.
This message, which also gives its name to La Mélo‘s latest mixtape, transcends aesthetic boundaries. Launched last year, BDLM was conceived as a collective project ‘by and for the youth’, offering a new wave of French rappers a platform to amplify their voice. Now, that same spirit is embodied in a textile piece loaded with meaning.
The reversible, long-sleeved jersey recaptures the bold DNA of Parisian street football with a vibrant gradient, customised details and a contemporary redesign of the iconic Total 90 logo. A piece that connects two worlds – that of sport and that of suburban culture – under the same narrative: boundless energy and authenticity.
In a nod to the legacy of the 2000s and at the same time with an eye to the future, this collaboration marks a new chapter for the young creative community. The visual campaign stars William Saliba, Arsenal star and pride of French youth.
The Nike Total 90 x BDLM will be available on 11 July exclusively through SNKRS.com.
