MAC Cosmetics has just added two new collaborations to its line of limited edition lip combos. This time, the stars are model Alex Consani and rapper JT, who have created their own lip combos with three products each. The selection is based on their most representative lip looks.
Each kit was selected by the artists, following the well-known formula of the Gabriette lip combo. The goal remains the same, to offer ready-to-use combinations that make it easy to replicate their make-up styles.
The kits reflect the differences between the two. JT’s takes a sharper, more experimental approach. It combines a deep brown profiling pencil called ‘Chestnut’, a MACximal Silky Matte lipstick in pastel pink called ‘Snob’ and the classic clear Lipglass, which adds shine without colour.
In contrast, Alex Consani’s combo maintains a simpler, more minimalist aesthetic, inspired by the relaxed look of models off the runway. His set includes the viral lipstick in shade ‘Whirl’, the MACximal Silky Matte lipstick in ‘Warm Teddy’, a warm nude, and the transparent Squirt gloss, which offers a volumising effect.
Both lip combos are designed to be easy to use and match, with no complicated steps required. They are available now on MAC’s website for $52 USD each.
