Rarely does an artist manage to blur the boundaries of genre, language and geography with the naturalness with which Carin León is doing it. At the peak of his career, the singer-songwriter from Hermosillo has embarked on one of the most important tours of the global music scene in 2025: his impressive Boca Chueca Tour, a journey that not only reaffirms his status in the Spanish-speaking world, but also projects him strongly in the international sphere.

Spain has been one of the key stages of this tour, and also one of the most symbolic. It is not just another visit: it is the return to a territory where her music has found an echo, roots and response. In this Spanish stage, Carin León has given four concerts in key cities – Gran Canaria, Seville, Madrid and Valencia – leaving behind an indelible record of talent, emotion and communion with the audience.
At the Granca Live Fest, he was the closing act in front of more than 20,000 people, reaffirming his ability to attract large crowds. In Madrid, he completely filled the Movistar Arena with a completely renewed staging; while in Seville and Valencia, the audience surrendered to an artist who gives his all and who has elevated the live show to a form of total expression.
The show – with more than thirty songs performed each night – is much more than a sequence of hits: it is an emotional narrative that traverses love, loss, identity and belonging. He opened each performance with ‘Me La Aventé’ and closed with ‘Primera Cita’, spinning a repertoire that included classics such as ‘El Amor de mi Vida’, ‘La Farsante’, ‘Aviso Importante’ or the already emblematic ‘Según Quién’.
One of the most celebrated aspects of this tour has been the inclusion of collaborations that underline his desire for dialogue with local musical cultures. In Madrid, he shared the stage with JC Reyes – bringing his urban sensibility to ‘Qué Más Da’ – and with Niña Pastori, who put her flamenco stamp on ‘Siempre Firme’, creating moments of absolute artistic intensity. As a gesture of closeness and respect, Carin also performed ‘Peces de Ciudad’, Joaquín Sabina’s immortal work, demonstrating his sensitivity and ability to transcend styles.
This tour of Spain not only consolidates Carin León as a leading figure in Latin American music, but also confirms a deeper truth: his bond with the country is genuine and has matured over time. From his participation in El Madrileño to his collaborations with artists such as Ralphie Choo, Pablopablo, Omar Montes and Manuel Carrasco, the Mexican has built a relationship with the Spanish scene that goes far beyond the anecdotal.
The Boca Chueca Tour in Spain has been, in short, a celebration of the talent, connection and universality of a voice that no longer belongs to a single land, but to all those who find in his lyrics a way of understanding – and feeling – the world.
