Bad Bunny opened his 30-night residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico. The first weekend of “No Me Quiero Ir “de Aquí came with the surprise release of “Alambre Púa“, his new single. The track and its music video interrupt the silence since his last album, “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” (January 2025).
Produced by Tainy and Luis Ahmed Irizarry, ‘Alambre Púa’ sounds like Bad Bunny on autopilot but with clear direction. Phrases like ‘Si me deja’ te hago un bebé’ and ‘Como tú ninguna se ve’ convey a deep longing for an ex. Aiming to keep the conversation revolving around his narrative, without following any commercial timeline.
The music video works as an extension of the concept. A woman dances on what looks like a beach, until the camera zooms out to reveal that it is a studio. The final shot shows the key phrase of this new stage, ‘I don’t want to leave here’.
The move fits the logic of his current career. An unplanned release, executed when attention is at its peak. “Alambre Púa” needs no context because it is part of a larger one that strengthens Bad Bunny as an artist. Surprising his fans in innovative ways and with bold artistic proposals.
