LEGO takes its universe to the Cinque Terre (Italy) with its new Italian Riviera set. Made up of 3,251 pieces and aimed at an adult audience. Inspired by the Italian town, the model recreates a Mediterranean village with three colourful, sloping buildings. The set includes an ice cream parlour, a dive shop and a fish market.
The design is the work of Alex Sahli, a hobbyist from Oregon. LEGO selected Sahli through its LEGO Ideas programme, which transforms community-voted proposals into official sets. The designer highlights the work done on roofs and stone walls, focusing on architectural angles and rich colour.
This set includes 10 minifigures, including a ‘nonna’ making pasta and an ice cream vendor, adding context to the coastal scene.
The new Cinque Terre-inspired LEGO being will be available from 10 August 2025, with early access for LEGO Insiders members from the 7th. The price will be $300. In addition, those who purchase the set between August 7 and 13 will receive, while supplies last, an additional bonus set, the LEGO Mediterranean Scene.
