The South Korean K-pop star and actress stars in a journey into a hyper-futuristic universe.
Photographed by Drew Vickers, the latest self-portrait campaign takes place in urban landscapes generated by artificial intelligence: digitised metropolises, illuminated by neon lights, where Jisoo presents herself as a heroine from another time. The sci-fi aesthetic blends with the brand’s feminine spirit, resulting in a contrast that is as unexpected as it is appealing.
“Working with Jisoo is effortless because he doesn’t need to act or think too much, he has a presence that draws people in,” says Han Chong, founder and creative director of self-portrait. “Each season we have created a world around him and this campaign continues the story, taking it to a new dimension. Their community has been very engaged with everything we’ve done together, and I hope they’ll be excited about how the story evolves over the two seasons.”
