The Urban Exploration division of The North Face presents its proposal for the coming autumn, FW25, under the name Urban Evolution. A collection designed for those who move seamlessly between the city and the outdoors. Its references draw equally from architecture and from the most technical side of outdoor gear. The launch will be rolled out in two chapters across the Asia-Pacific region between August and September.
In August, Japanese designer Naohiro Fujisaki explores layering and the interaction of garments. His vision of denim takes shape in hybrid silhouettes such as the Denim Hybrid Jacket and the Triple Side Seam Denim Pants. The drop is completed with a modular vest featuring removable three-dimensional pockets, which can be transformed into a shoulder bag. Versatility is the starting point.
In September, Andrea Jiapei Li develops a vocabulary of curves and volumes, exploring what she defines as “the tension of an arch”. The entire release revolves around functionality: hidden pockets, adjustable silhouettes, and technical fabrics. Key pieces include the City Exploration Jacket in A-line GORE-TEX and the Layered Mount Hardshell Jacket, which combines lunar blue and linen yellow in a retro nod.
With this proposal, The North Face Urban Exploration FW25 reaffirms its position at the intersection of design, functionality, and urban culture – speaking a language where technical performance meets formal experimentation.
