This Camper flagship store, located on Calle Serrano, becomes the first physical space conceived by Gabriel, where he translates his design language beyond the product.
The result combines brutalist references with a warm and timeless aesthetic. The space houses both Camper and CAMPERLAB collections, differentiated yet connected through a shared visual narrative. Brushed aluminium shelving illuminated from below, pedestals and marble or wooden surfaces frame the product with a museographic approach closer to a showroom than to a conventional store.
The lighting reinforces this idea. A soft general system is combined with strategic spotlights and light boxes that highlight the footwear as the protagonist. Large mirrors expand the spatial perception, while the absence of traditional shop windows removes the distance with passers-by.
Contrasting materials—laminated ebony wood, Royal Brown marble, wooden benches and geometric concrete seating—define a solid and functional environment.
According to Gabriel, the aim was to create a permanent, sophisticated space that is consistent with Camper’s philosophy, where innovation and tradition coexist on the same plane.
Camper’s flagship store at Calle Serrano 24 reopened on 10 September.
