PlayStation turns 30 and is celebrating away from the screen. PlayStation has transformed its imagination into five signature ice creams created with Jordi Roca. The Rocambolesc chef —Michelin-starred and a constant agitator of contemporary pastry— presents this limited collection, available during September at Rocambolesc shops in Girona and Barcelona.
This collection bridges gaming culture and avant-garde gastronomy. Each ice cream translates an iconic title into unexpected flavours. The console comes to life in the PlayStation Buttons Ice Pop, a burst of colour and contrasts. The intensity of The Last of Us becomes a milk and biscuit ice pop. Astro Bot is reimagined as a water-based ice cream with banana, blueberries and coconut, hiding a chocolate coin inside. The Japanese epic of Ghost of Yōtei is savoured in a lychee and sake ice pop. And the speed of Gran Turismo appears in a soft-serve format, with black sesame, passion fruit, and a cookie shaped like a wheel.

This is not the first time PlayStation and Roca have collaborated. In April they surprised with an Easter cake shaped like a DualSense, but this latest collaboration is far more ambitious.
The chef explains that at Rocambolesc they have translated the emotion of video games into flavours, playing with ingredients, colours and textures as if they were new screens capable of evoking memories.
Beyond a nod to fans, the collection reaffirms PlayStation as a cultural icon with the ability to expand into other creative fields. It also demonstrates that high-end pastry can speak the language of gaming. A limited tribute of five pieces, available only this month, that turns nostalgia into a sensory and edible experience.
