This is Gucci Shift, the House’s new sneaker

Gucci Shift is an ultra-light, low-profile silhouette that updates the House’s athletic codes for everyday wear.

The design revolves around the Web. This equestrian-inspired detail, one of the House’s most recognisable symbols, is combined here with clean proportions and a construction designed for comfort. In addition, it reinforces the brand’s identity by being integrated into every version of the sneaker.

In the women’s version, the model combines GG mesh fabric, soft suede and elastic side inserts. The flat sole takes inspiration from the classic ballerina and therefore provides lightness and comfort. In this way, the sneaker sits between sportswear and casual. Among the key details are a light gold interlocking G ornament on the laces, the Web on the side and a pull tab at the heel. Moreover, it will be available in various combinations of suede, GG canvas and technical fabric in different tones.

The men’s proposal, on the other hand, opts for a more contemporary look. It features the Web on the tongue, heel and side stitching. In addition, the outsole incorporates a maxi version of the House logo. The models come in smooth leather, washed leather and GG canvas, thus offering different options depending on style.

Ultimately, Gucci Shift arrives as a lightweight and versatile sneaker that reinforces the House’s exploration of movement and everyday comfort. Finally, it will be launched exclusively online from 16 September.
