After EGO, a first project of search and affirmation, Morgan now presents a conceptual mixtape that functions as both the closing of a stage and a map of her transformations.
Each genre responds to a specific dimension. Reggaeton reflects power, desire and conflict in the relationships between trans women and men; rock functions as an outlet in the face of the night, excess and chaos; and pop becomes a territory of the emotional and the direct, where vulnerability is exposed without mediation.
ALTEREGO does not seek a single definition, but rather to show multiplicity. Each track is a fragment of the same multiple narrative that reflects all the versions of Shannade Morgan.
