TASCHEN presents Tadao Ando. Sketches, Drawings, and Architecture, a 594-page volume that gathers 750 sketches, plans, and models by the Japanese architect. The book covers his work from 1975 to the present, including projects such as the Row House in Sumiyoshi, the Chichu Art Museum, and the Bourse de Commerce.
The focus of the book is to show Ando’s creative process through his own drawings, presented as tools to understand his ideas and design decisions. It also includes a foreword and commentary by the architect on his practice, centred on the experience of spaces and the relationship with place.

Tadao Ando. Sketches, Drawings, and Architecture is available for pre-order on the TASCHEN website and will be officially published in November at a price of 200 dollars.
