Fuorimoda: NSS Alternative to MFW

In parallel with Milano Fashion Week SS26, nss magazine launches Fuorimoda, a programme that takes fashion beyond the official shows.

From 23 to 27 September, the nss edicola space in Piazza Bruno Buozzi will serve as the project hub, hosting all activities, presentations, screenings, and talks.

On 23 September, Fuorimoda kicks off with an opening party at nss edicola. The event includes the launch of the merchandise capsule and a DJ set to mark the start of the programme.

Each night, key shows — Diesel, Prada, The Attico, or Bottega Veneta — will be screened alongside live analyses by creatives and local voices. It is a way to follow Fashion Week without needing an invitation.

The programme also includes Fuorimoda Meets, open encounters with Italian designers such as Francesco Murano, Giuseppe Di Morabito, and Marco Rambaldi. The aim is to bring creative processes and brand strategies closer to the public.

Fuorimoda Reviews allow anyone to comment on the collections via an ironic digital voting system, from “whole banana” to “peeled banana”. The results will be public and serve as a thermometer for the week.

To complement the experience, NSS launches an exclusive merchandise capsule featuring critical messages about the fashion system. Available only at nss edicola during the event days.

With Fuorimoda, NSS proposes a parallel and accessible format that offers new ways to engage with the traditional Fashion Week model, both physically and digitally.
