A collection that balances practicality and sophistication, with transit as its DNA. Presented during Paris Fashion Week, Marie Adam-Leenaerdt’s collection articulates a language where silhouettes intersect styles and the everyday is elevated.

On the third day of the women’s ready-to-wear shows in Paris, Marie Adam-Leenaerdt’s proposal received recognition and stood out among the collections shaping the direction of the upcoming season.

The Belgian designer moves between observation and functionality. She conceived a runway resembling an airport, with atmospheres of transit, movement, and everyday scenes that reinterpret objects and travel rituals.

In Season 6, a wardrobe conscious of its destination unfolds. The dominant colours—black, navy, beige, and skin tones—support essential garments, including trousers, classic jumpers, straight skirts with back slits, a versatile trench coat, suits, and hats.

But there are also bolder choices: maxi dresses in twilight shades, draped lamé tops, and shiny slip dresses. Statement jewellery—diamonds and large pearls—draws attention in earrings, necklaces, and rings. A net bag with strass appears as a bright counterpoint to the neutral-toned pieces.

Some garments, such as the trench coat, are detachable and can be adapted according to use. Similarly, a satin tracksuit bottom is paired with formal pieces, and certain layering allows one garment to function as two. This versatility is one of the central themes of Marie Adam-Leenaerdt’s collection.
