The Latin party that has redefined Madrid’s Wednesdays is taking a historic leap. La Cucaracha, known for its residency at El Internacional and its community centred around live music, dance, and tropical culture, lands on 12 October at Florida Park, one of the city’s most iconic venues.
Under the name La Gran Cucaracha, this new format will bring together more than 1,400 attendees for an experience set to mark a turning point in Madrid’s nightlife.
The event retains all the elements that have made La Cucaracha unmissable. There will be live music, dance, performances, and a diverse, engaged audience. The evening kicks off with a welcome cocktail at 18:00, followed by dance classes led by Caribe Mami, inviting guests to get involved from the very start.
The Gran Orquesta Latina de La Cucaracha will perform two live sets (20:00 and 21:15), accompanied by the energy and signature staging of the party. This will be followed by a special show from Bluetooth Girl and the hosting of Arnelio Carbonell, the master of ceremonies.
In the DJ booth, Gia Fu, one of the most established artists in the tropical music scene, will lead the main DJ set from 22:00. The night will continue with resident DJ Jean Syler until 02:00.
The staging is another key hallmark. Guests will encounter palm trees, neon lights, photo frames, original signage, and branding that translate the essence of La Cucaracha on a large scale.
