Last night, Ralphie Choo and Alberto Boltad presented their latest joint venture in Madrid, which blurs the boundaries between fashion and art objects. Far from being just a footwear brand, Le Toy Factory stands as a space for aesthetic experimentation: a laboratory where music is translated into form and design into emotion. Their debut comes with a limited edition capsule collection of shoes, conceived as authentic works of art rather than mere accessories.

Each model, handcrafted in Almansa (Albacete), embodies a fusion between the tradition of Spanish footwear and the avant-garde irreverence of a new generation that understands fashion as an unlimited avenue for artistic innovation.

‘We wanted to create something that wasn’t just fashion, but a space for creative play and transgression. Each shoe tells a story; it’s an object that connects with the imagination of those of us who grew up fascinated by cinema, music and the iconography of other eras,’ says Ralphie Choo.

Le Toy Factory‘s imagery revolves around a constellation of influences ranging from cult cinema to theatrical glamour. Their designs echo Brian de Palma‘s Phantom of the Paradise and Jodorowsky‘s The Holy Mountain. They also celebrate the pop titans who transformed musical aesthetics into total performance, such as David Bowie, Prince, Michael Jackson, Björk and Elton John.

“Le Toy Factory is for those seeking something unique. The shoe collection is the first step towards a universe where avant-garde and craftsmanship meet,” explains Alberto Boltad.
