Walls returns with “¿Cuántas penas vale tu amor?”

The Murcian artist Walls releases “¿Cuántas penas vale tu amor?“, a deeply intimate single in which he transforms pain into celebration. With a voice full of vulnerability and emotion, the musician poses a universal question: how far is it worth suffering for someone?

This release marks a new chapter in his career, maintaining his most personal essence while opening the door to a renewed stage. The song samples “Magdalena” —performed by Beny Moré, Ary Macedo, and Ayrton Amorín— a piece that the artist used to play with his father as a child. Precisely he and his tuna companions —the university musical ensemble combining guitars, choral voices, and a festive spirit— provide the backing vocals, giving the track a unique symbolic and emotional weight. It is a direct link to his family and musical roots.

Having established himself as one of the most distinctive voices of his generation with Los niños del parque (2022) and LUNA 18 (2024) —the latter also released in a deluxe edition— Walls continues to expand his musical universe in 2025 with a series of releases that define his evolution: ODIO A LA LUNA, Mi nena (which has already surpassed three and a half million streams) and Conmigo no lloras.

With “¿Cuántas penas vale tu amor?, Walls reaffirms his ability to move across genres. More than a single, this release is a meeting point where memory, family, and feeling converge.

On 21 February, Walls will bring his music to the Movistar Arena in Madrid, in what promises to be one of the most important nights of his career.
