The exclusive capsule collection by Bianca Saunders and Tate

Two centuries of British imagination come together in a single narrative.

Between art and the body. Between William Blake‘s mystical vision and Bianca Saunders‘ refined sensibility. This is how Tate AW25‘s new exclusive capsule collection was born, a proposal that transforms the acclaimed artist’s iconic works — “The Two Faces of Virtue” and “The Simoniacal Pope” — into fabrics, silhouettes and textures that speak from the present.

Saunders thus reinterprets Blake‘s iconography through his characteristic language: clean lines, gender fluidity and a sensibility that understands clothing as gesture and symbol. The capsule collection consists of four essential pieces—the cotton blend “Judging Adam” jumper, the long-sleeved “Fire” T-shirt, and the wool “Judging Adam” beanie and scarf—all designed with the same purpose in mind: to dress with meaning. Each garment reflects the designer’s obsession with durability, material consciousness and inclusivity.

‘It has been inspiring to work with William Blake’s images and bring his powerful symbolism into dialogue with my design practice. This capsule pays homage to both art and everyday life, offering pieces that are carefully thought out but designed to be worn and lived in,’ says Bianca.
