Designed by Margiela‘s creative studio in collaboration with Italian architect Carlo Colombo, this ambitious project will give shape to 24 bespoke residences that encapsulate the iconic codes of the Parisian fashion house—deconstruction, trompe l’oeil and transformation—within an environment marked by quiet luxury and a deeply conceptual aesthetic.
‘The collaboration with Maison Margiela allows us to push the boundaries of design and redefine the concept of luxury living in Dubai. These residences will be a testament to creativity, craftsmanship and individuality,’ said Abdulla Al Tayer, CEO of Alta Real Estate Development, in an official statement.
The announcement comes after the launch of Line 2, Maison Margiela‘s new division dedicated to “intangible products”: cultural projects, art installations and experimental collaborations that expand its identity beyond fashion. This strategy consolidates its global presence and places it at the forefront of the conversation about how major fashion houses are reinterpreting contemporary luxury.
This move also responds to a growing trend: fashion brands entering the real estate market to explore new narratives of luxury. Following Armani Residences‘ plans in Ras Al Khaimah, Margiela elevates the concept of boutique living by transforming its conceptual universe into a living space where architecture, fashion and lifestyle coexist in perfect harmony.
At present, neither the exact location nor an opening date has been confirmed, but everything points to it arriving at any time in 2026.
