Technical experimentation and references to Brain Dead.
Oakley Factory Team broadens its creative universe for the Autumn–Winter 2025 season with a proposal rooted in technical experimentation and the organic references that define its partnership with Brain Dead. The new release introduces fresh colourways for the Ibex and Flesh Warp models, along with two special eyewear launches: Plantaris and Straight Jacket 99.
The line maintains the guiding thread of the collaboration. On one hand, it draws on Oakley’s legacy of innovation. On the other, it embraces Brain Dead’s neo-futurist aesthetic. As a result, the surreal and the natural coexist within a shared creative space.
Outdoor of the future in Coffee and Burnt Red
The Oakley Factory Team Ibex returns in two new colourways — Coffee and Burnt Red. With this, the model reinforces its vision of approach footwear as a field for aesthetic and functional evolution. The upper combines synthetic suede, a fluid moulded structure and a reinforced lacing system for a secure fit. Mesh panels improve breathability, while the O-Grip sole ensures reliable traction. The Ortholite insole and sculpted midsole enhance stability and comfort across various environments.
Archive reinterpreted
The Flesh Warp model continues the narrative introduced last season. It represents an evolution of the iconic early-2000s Oakley Flesh. Its asymmetric lacing defines this version, which comes in full-grain leather Sequoia, Blue/Black and a Triple Grey finish with a shaggy suede vamp. In this way, the silhouette updates the archive through a more contemporary lens.

Functional surrealism and sporting heritage
The eyewear offering strengthens the link between Oakley’s performance DNA and Brain Dead’s psychedelic vision, while also adding a more experimental approach.
Plantaris draws inspiration from organic growth. Its fluid lines evoke natural branching and are paired with a dual-arm construction featuring translucent silicone grips that reveal a vein-shaped titanium core. The removable nose bridge allows the frame to adapt to different environments. The limited Sepia edition features Prizm™ Tungsten lenses.
Meanwhile, Straight Jacket 99 revives a 1999 icon. The model appears in an exclusive X-Silver colourway. Its ultra-lightweight O-Matter™ frame incorporates subtle flame-like contours that connect with its original aesthetic, while Prizm™ Ruby lenses add a bold finish.
Shared philosophy
Taken as a whole, both the footwear and the eyewear follow the same principle: redefining performance through experimentation. The collection merges history, technical design and a contemporary creative vision.
The Oakley Factory Team AW25 collection will be available globally this Friday, 14 November, at WEAREBRAINDEAD.COM, Oakley.com, Oakley stores and selected retailers.
