A preview of HDLR vol.4.
Hijos de la Ruina continue to prepare the ground for HDLR vol.4, their fourth studio album, set for release in mid-January. Following the impact of “BAJO ZERO”, Natos, Waor and Recycled J return with “MOLTISANTI”, a single that looks to the past in order to understand the present. The track reinforces the strength of the bond that has turned them into a benchmark within the urban scene.
Unlike the defiant energy of their previous release, the trio now opt for a more introspective tone. “MOLTISANTI” blends nostalgia, reflection and gratitude. The single showcases their artistic evolution with honesty and reveals a more personal side. Over time, this approach has become part of the soundtrack of an entire generation.
The title refers to Christopher Moltisanti, one of the key characters in The Sopranos. His story is marked by hardship, change and personal development. Through this reference, Hijos de la Ruina revisit their origins, acknowledge their journey and highlight the process that has led them to their current position.
Family and roots at the heart of the message
The lyrics include nods to previous works, but this time the focus is on family — both biological and chosen. Natos states it directly: “Fer is my older brother, Jorge is my younger brother.” It’s a declaration that sums up the nature of their bond. Waor mentions his children, reinforcing the ideas of legacy and unconditional love. Recycled J once again places Madrid as an emotional starting point, reconnecting with his roots and childhood.
The music video strengthens the single’s narrative through symbolic imagery. It was filmed in front of a building under construction where only the foundations are visible. This visual element works as a metaphor for the song’s message and the project itself. Stone by stone, Natos, Waor and Recycled J continue to build a body of work that grows alongside them.
With “MOLTISANTI”, Hijos de la Ruina once again demonstrate why they continue to hold a central place in the urban music scene. Their sound evolves and matures, yet still resonates with those who have been with them from the very beginning.
