After weeks of rumours, leaks and a communication strategy that has kept her community on edge, Rosalía has finally confirmed the dates of the tour that will introduce Lux, her latest and much-discussed album. The Catalan artist will travel across Europe, the United States, Canada and Latin America between March and September 2026, adding up to 42 dates in 17 countries. Spain once again holds a central place, this time with a concentrated schedule of eight shows split exclusively between Madrid and Barcelona.

The tour will kick off on 16 March in Lyon and move through major European capitals before reaching Spain. Madrid will welcome Rosalía at the Movistar Arena on 30 March and 1, 3 and 4 April, right in the middle of Holy Week — a context that fits surprisingly well with the spiritual aesthetic woven into Lux. Barcelona will follow at the Palau Sant Jordi on 13, 15, 17 and 18 April.

Tickets will be available from Thursday 11 December, with two release times. At 10:00am, sales will open for the shows on 30 March and 1 April in Madrid, as well as 13 and 15 April in Barcelona. One hour later, at 11:00am, tickets will go on sale for the dates on 3 and 4 April in Madrid and 17 and 18 April in Barcelona.

Tickets will be available through livenation.es, Ticketmaster and El Corte Inglés. For now, the promoter has not announced pricing.

A new approach to staging

This tour marks a clear shift from the concept behind the Motomami Tour. Back then, Rosalía opted for an instrumentally minimalist show, supported by pre-recorded tracks and a staging approach that divided part of the audience. Lux, however, demands a different treatment: the album is built on symphonic arrangements, and all signs point to the artist travelling with an orchestra to bring the repertoire to life. On the album, that role is played by the London Symphony Orchestra, although their presence on the tour seems unlikely due to scheduling constraints.

Visually, major changes are also expected. Among the leaks circulating within the fan community —a space where the line between rumour and campaign often feels intentionally blurred— the most striking is a potential design featuring a monumental cross dominating the stage, a symbol closely linked to the mystical imagery of the project.

The challenge of bringing Lux to the stage

Anticipation is high not only for the staging but also for the vocal demands of the new album. Her recent performance of Reliquia at the Los40 Music Awards made it evident that Lux requires impeccable sound quality — something not all arenas can guarantee.

And although it has been repeated that the album runs for just one hour —relatively short for a concert whose tickets may reach a high price point— Rosalía has the advantage of a catalogue that already forms part of contemporary pop culture. The challenge will be moving, in a single night, from the solemn, almost monastic atmosphere of Lux to the bold and urban energy of Motomami. If anyone can make that transition seamless, it’s Rosalía.
