Tyler, The Creator closes GOLF Le FLEUR

Golf LE FLEUR presents “The Last Petal”, a summary of Tyler’s nine years of talent in menswear.

Tyler, The Creator closes GOLF Le FLEUR

Le FLEUR* latest collection is not here to mourn a closure. It is here to make clear why Tyler has been so important to men’s fashion in recent years. ‘The Last Petal’ is a review of everything that defined his universe: intelligent colour, subtle preppy references and that blend of ingenuity and precision that no one else knew how to work with in the same way.

The looks speak for themselves: blue denim with oversized fastenings doesn’t try to reinvent anything; it simply reaffirms the aesthetic that Tyler built piece by piece: childish if you look at it from afar, impeccable if you look at it up close. The striped polo shirt adds that carefree touch that always balanced his proposal, as if the school uniform had been filtered through a very measured Californian lens.

The ZAIRE camo block, with bucket hat and shorts, revisits his ability to play with codes that shouldn’t mix and make them work. A waffle jumper slung over the shoulder, a lime green that doesn’t ask for permission… That’s Tyler: zero fear of contrast, zero need to justify it.

Then there are: the blanket-style parka, the olive green beret, the floral anorak that looks like it came out of a 1970s home archive. There is no intention to surprise; there is an intention to come full circle. Each piece seems to say: I’ve done this before, and yet it deserves to be recorded.

The photos confirm it: Tyler appears in all versions of himself. The elegant nerd, the soft preppy, the boy who plays dress-up without falling into costume. The whole collection has that air of ‘this is the last, but don’t treat it like a relic’.

The clothes serve as a reminder that Golf Le FLEUR* was never a brand that competed with anyone: it was a very personal space that he opened when he wanted to and is now closing with the same calm. And this final collection makes it clear without any speeches: Tyler’s style doesn’t end here; he’s simply stopping mass production.
