Young Miko takes over the Coliseo de Puerto Rico with two sold-out, history-making nights

Young Miko continues to expand her creative world, and she is also strengthening her cultural influence. This past weekend, the GRAMMY-nominated global superstar took over the Coliseo de Puerto Rico with two fully sold-out shows. It was a milestone in her career, and also a key moment for the new generation of artists who are reshaping urban pop from the Caribbean to the wider world.

These were her first concerts in this iconic venue. Because of that, returning to the island to perform for those who have supported her from the very beginning felt especially meaningful. It also marked the close of a monumental year, highlighted by the release of her second album, Do Not Disturb, and her rise to international stardom.

Her own universe

Fans were welcomed by a cinematic scene: a huge LED box displaying “DO NOT DISTURB”, a direct nod to the new album. Meanwhile, harpist Ileana Colón created an atmospheric introduction that drew the audience into Miko’s introspective and futuristic world.

Once the venue went dark and the opening notes of “El Intro” played, the box lifted and revealed Miko, sparking an explosive reaction. From that moment, the energy remained high. She performed “oye ma’”, “Lisa”, “Tempo”, and several songs from the new album, including “Sexo de Moteles”, “Meiomi”, and “Likey Likey”. With 20 dancers beside her, she delivered a tightly choreographed show that reinforced her status as a complete performer.

Guests and pivotal moments

A lift-style visual transported the audience into the hotel-inspired concept behind Do Not Disturb. Inside the LED box, Miko explored her most vulnerable thoughts in “Algo Casual” and “Ojalá”. This marked one of the most emotional and conceptual parts of the night.

The first major surprise came when Eladio Carrión joined her to perform “Traviesa” and “AMG”. On the second night, Mora stepped onstage for “TOA”.

The show then shifted to a segment dedicated to the ballroom scene. Here, queer energy took centre stage. With voguing, lights and a strong visual presence, Miko, along with Villano Antillano, performed “Vendetta” and “MADRE”. The moment ended with a powerful message on the LED screen: “PROTECT THE DOLLS.”

Afterwards, Miko returned to her roots. She moved to a secondary stage inspired by her Trap Kitty era, creating a club-like atmosphere for “Putero”, “Bi”, and “Riri”. The second night brought more surprises with appearances from Tainy (“Ni Le Cabe”) and Omar Courtz (“Amandita” and “WOAHH”).

Throughout the show, handheld cameras, an Audience Cam and the Miko Cam created an immersive experience. They brought fans closer to the action and made the space feel intimate, even in a massive arena. Back on the main stage, the energy rose again when Bad Gyal and Tokischa joined Miko to perform “Chulo Pt. 2” together for the first time. They followed with fan favourites “COLMILLO” and “Dosis”.

A cultural celebration

Before the finale, Miko paused to thank her inner circle with real emotion. She then offered a moving performance of “pinot grigio”. During the second show, Feid added even more energy with “Offline” and “Classy 101”.

The emotional high point arrived with “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 58”. Thousands of phone lights illuminated the venue while the audience sang in unison. Miko took a moment to thank Puerto Rico with clear and heartfelt gratitude.

She closed both nights with her global viral hit “WASSUP”, recently listed by Rolling Stone among the 100 Best Songs of 2025. The track left the Coliseo shaking from start to finish.

A historic chapter

With two sold-out nights, a bold conceptual performance and a list of guests that reflects her global reach, Young Miko is not only celebrating a historic year. She is also redefining what a contemporary Latin music show can be.

Her album Do Not Disturb debuted at #3 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut USA, #4 globally, and entered Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart. This confirms her artistic vision — a blend of queer sensitivity, futuristic style and her unmistakable flow — is shaping culture in a lasting way.
