Balad Beast returns to Al Balad with Playboi Carti, Don Toliver, and more

The festival will return to the historic heart of Jeddah on 29 and 30 January 2026.

With the aim of celebrating its fourth edition, the most ambitious, expansive and immersive to date, Balad Beast returns to consolidate its status as one of the most unique cultural events in the region and reaffirm its mission to turn heritage into a living space where music, art and community coexist.

Located in Al Balad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the event transforms the district’s centuries-old alleys, squares and souks into a constantly changing stage for two nights. Thousands of attendees will wander through this historic labyrinth turned into a soundscape where architectural tradition dialogues with contemporary culture.

And, as expected, the line-up is stellar. A powerful and diverse mix that crosses genres and generations, headed by names such as Playboi Carti, Shaggy, Don Toliver, Solomun, Ben Böhmer, Loco Dice, Pawsa and Naïka, alongside a carefully selected group of international, regional and local artists. They are joined by Brian Knauss, NTO, Tini Gessler, Franky Rizardo, Destroy Lonely, Caleesi & Kreis, Varoo, among many others. With more announcements still to be revealed, electronic, hip-hop, pop and hybrid sounds coexist in a line-up designed to break down barriers and connect scenes.
