NEEDLES and BEAMS rework the classic track jacket

To welcome the Spring/Summer 2026 season, NEEDLES and BEAMS team up once again with a proposal that refreshes athleisure through a more refined lens. The project reimagines NEEDLES’ classic track jacket using a material rarely seen in this type of silhouette: mohair.

The garment retains its original sporty structure, but the use of knitted mohair completely changes its perception. The texture is soft and lightweight, with a more elegant visual finish. As a result, the jacket moves beyond pure functionality to become a versatile piece suitable for different settings. In keeping with its minimalist approach, the design removes front pockets, reinforcing a clean and uninterrupted line.

The jacket is available in brown, black and grey. It preserves NEEDLES’ signature details, including the contrasting stripes running along the sleeves and the Papillon embroidery on the chest. The hazy effect of the mohair adds depth and allows the piece to be worn either as a statement outer layer or underneath a coat.

The NEEDLES × BEAMS collaboration will be available in selected stores and on BEAMS’ online platform from 2 January.
