This first partnership is the organic result of years of friendship, mutual admiration, and creative trust.
Pedro Andrade and Colm Dillane, two figures who understand fashion as a field of pure artistic experimentation, finally bring their vision to life and combine their talents in an exclusive collection. This collection is presented as an exercise in contemporary craftsmanship, where manual labour, technical innovation and textile development coexist in perfect harmony and without hierarchy.
On the one hand, KidSuper brings its unmistakable imagery to the collection: hand-painted illustrations, expressive faces, camouflage patterns and an aesthetic clearly inspired by football and popular culture. On the other, Piet displays his technique with some highly recognisable hallmarks: crochet, 3D knitting, embroidered constructions and a great obsession with detail.
The creative process was as natural as it was unconventional. At no point did they coincide in the same space. Colm sent works and visual references from afar, while Piet‘s team experimented with materials, patterns, and technical solutions from Brazil. Decisions were made remotely, almost intuitively, sustained by a level of mutual trust that was unusual but nonetheless present.
