A discreet and amicable breakup.
Two of the most prominent figures in Colombian urban music, Karol G and Feid, have reportedly gone their separate ways. According to the US outlet TMZ, the breakup took place several months ago. Everything is said to have happened discreetly and on good terms, with both artists maintaining a cordial relationship.
The story between Karol G and Feid began well before any public confirmation. In 2021, Feid joined Karol G’s Bichota Tour as the opening act. That tour marked the start of a close relationship, both professionally and personally. That same year, they released the remix of the track “Friki”, which fuelled rumours among fans.
For a long time, they avoided speaking publicly about their relationship. Even so, Karol G left several clues in her music. One of the most talked-about was “Tus Gafitas”, included on Mañana Será Bonito (2023). In the song, she references Oakley glasses, an accessory closely associated with Feid.
Confirmation came in March 2024. Karol G shared a photo on social media holding hands with Feid after attending the Billboard Women In Music event. For many, the image served as the official public debut of their relationship.
One of the most memorable moments came in December 2024. During the final date of the Ferxxocalipsis World Tour, Karol G made a surprise appearance on stage. She performed “Mi Ex Tenía Razón”, a song that some fans linked to her previous relationship with Anuel AA.
The end of a chapter
Musically, their most recent collaboration was “Verano Rosa”. The track appears on Tropicoqueta, the album Karol G released last June. Today, although their romantic relationship has reportedly ended, both artists remain focused on their respective careers.
For now, neither Karol G nor Feid has made an official statement. The breakup, much like much of their time together, remains wrapped in discretion.
