This is the new capsule in which sacai and Carhartt WIP cross paths again

The sacai x Carhartt WIP collaboration returns this season with its fourth capsule collection, arriving on 6 February. It will be available in selected stores worldwide and also in both brands’ physical and online stores, except for Carhartt WIP women’s stores. This new instalment once again brings together two very different approaches to fashion: sacai’s experimental style and Carhartt WIP’s functional spirit.

The collection is based on some of sacai’s best-known garments, such as the coat, tailored jacket and MA-1. These pieces are mixed with Carhartt WIP classics, such as the Detroit Jacket and Siberian Chore Coat. The result is garments that combine elegance with practicality in a way that is very characteristic of both brands.

In terms of details, the collection uses contrasting stitching throughout all the garments. In addition, some include corduroy collars, a material closely linked to the history of Carhartt WIP. These are small touches that help to give each piece personality and maintain the hybrid feel that defines sacai.

The capsule collection, for men and unisex, consists of nine styles. It comes in black, as well as new combinations of blue and ivory. There will also be a beige colour that will only be available for purchase at the sacai online store. With this collection, sacai and Carhartt WIP continue to strengthen a collaboration that blends design, tradition and functionality.
