Le Rouge CELINE expands the Maison’s beauty universe.
Since Hedi Slimane presented CELINE Beauté during the “La Collection de l’Arc de Triomphe” fashion show in March 2024, it has been clear that the house would enter the beauty arena, viewing make-up as a piece of haute couture in itself. And now, almost two years later, eight matte finish lip balms are arriving. One universal shade and seven tinted shades with adjustable colour, designed as a sophisticated, intuitive and sensory daily gesture.
The main objective of these balms is to enhance the lips with a matte finish that closely resembles the natural texture of the skin, leaving an almost imperceptible effect that balances care and colour. Application is deliberately generous thanks to a stick with a wide bevelled edge, designed to glide on effortlessly, as if the product were melting into the lips.
The formula has been developed specifically for CELINE by LVMH Research Laboratories and strikes a very precise balance between treatment, sensoriality and visual results. Composed of 94% natural ingredients—oils, squalene, sunflower wax, rice wax and beeswax—it incorporates black rose oil extract and hyaluronic acid spheres that provide immediate and lasting hydration, keeping lips soft, supple and comfortable.
As a direct extension of the CELINE Haute Parfumerie collection, the balm is delicately scented with a fresh, slightly sugary rose accord. A recognisable powdery note that connects the act of application with the olfactory universe of the Maison.
