After conquering the top of the industry and then crashing against their own expectations, the Argentine duo returns with a narrative that transcends music.

CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso have just released the first instalment of “FREE SPIRITS”, their new album scheduled for release on 19 March, and they do so from a place of healing – and with the help of one of rock’s most acclaimed legends. After winning the Grammy Award for Best Latin or Alternative Rock Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards for “PAPOTA”, the artists chose to take a break, despite the fact that this recognition confirmed the global dimension of their impact, and to temporarily set aside the creative chaos that has defined them from the outset.
They ended last year somewhat abruptly, releasing the provocative video for “GIMME MORE” and then announcing the cancellation of “TOP OF THE HILLS”, the ambitious studio album that was supposed to serve as a monument to their meteoric rise.
The narrative of success was shattered in public, and then Sting entered the scene. As unexpected as he was iconic, the Brit starred in a manifesto published on social media, announcing the existence of FREE SPIRITIS: a holistic wellness centre that he had kept secret for 35 years. According to his account, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso sought refuge there after their creative collapse, completing a transcendental 12-step programme. This is how they managed to reconnect with their creative energy and transform their conflicts into artistic raw material.
From that same process came “FREE SPIRITS”, an album that addresses precisely those 12 conflicts that brought them to breaking point.
After listening to the album, Sting developed what he calls the “Conscious Listening Paradigm”, a sound experience associated with listening to the project, the details of which will be revealed shortly and which can also be experienced globally.
As part of this new phase, the Argentine duo presents “HASTA JESÚS TUVO UN MAL DÍA”, a single featuring Sting, of course, which serves as a conceptual gateway to this new era. The message is clear: accept mistakes, fragility and collapse as part of the creative process. An existential reformulation that leaves behind fame, the pressure to constantly improve and the weight of the persona built up during “TOP OF THE HILLS”. In its place, a new perspective emerges: less ego, more awareness.
At freespiritscenter.com, anyone can apply to become a “FREE SPIRIT”. However, the selection process will be rigorous, demanding and deeply challenging. Are you up for it?
