The international fashion scene has a new focal point. The LVMH Prize 2026 has unveiled its 20 semi-finalists after reviewing more than 2,400 applications from around the world. Among them are two Spanish names confirming the country’s strong creative momentum: Thevxlley, by Daniel del Valle Fernández, and Tíscar Espadas, the label led by the Spanish designer alongside Swiss creative Kevin Kohler.

Organised by the luxury group LVMH, the award celebrates its 13th edition this year and will once again turn Paris into the epicentre of emerging talent. On 4 and 5 March, the 20 brands will present their collections in a showroom set within the newly renovated galleries of La Samaritaine, with Delphine Arnault hosting this new stage of the competition.

A committee of more than 80 experts will select the eight finalists, in a decision that will also include a public vote via an online platform open from 4 to 8 March.

Beyond media recognition, the main prize includes €400,000 and one year of mentorship within the group’s ecosystem. In addition, the Karl Lagerfeld Special Prize and the Savoir-Faire Prize will each award €200,000, also accompanied by specialised mentorship. The programme is completed by three prizes for recently graduated fashion students, who will join the design studios of one of the group’s brands for a year.

The 2026 edition of the LVMH Prize once again reflects the competition’s global reach, with brands from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, including— for the first time—designers from Georgia, Kenya and Thailand. On this international map, Spain is not only present; it is competing with strength.
