Under the title “The Sébastien Jondeau Collection: My Life with Karl Lagerfeld”, the digital auction house founded by Pharrell offers a glimpse into the designer’s private life.

Karl Lagerfeld‘s legacy is being revealed in an unprecedented and personal way to collectors and fashion lovers thanks to his confidant, bodyguard and muse for almost three decades. We are talking about Sébastien Jondeau, who was not only Karl‘s shadow, but also his creative partner and a central figure in his personal universe. Beyond protecting him, Jondeau became an integral part of his world, walking the catwalks for Chanel and becoming the face of the designer’s eponymous brand. Now, the auction reveals this unique relationship through gifts, objects and garments that reflect the taste, generosity and closeness between the two.

Among the treasures up for auction are several Rolex watches, exclusive jewellery and luxury items from the houses Lagerfeld ran—Chanel, Fendi and Louis Vuitton trunks. But the collection goes beyond fashion and includes works of art by iconic figures such as Andy Warhol, Helmut Newton and Jeff Koons. It is obvious that each piece has an incalculable historical and symbolic value, in addition to its material value, offering bidders the opportunity to own a unique fragment of fashion history.

The auction has already begun and will run until 3 March exclusively through JOOPITER.
