Dakota Johnson stars in her first Calvin Klein campaign (and proves that less is more)

The actress makes her debut as the face of Calvin Klein in a sensual and minimalist campaign that focuses on naturalness.

Actress Dakota Johnson is once again turning heads, this time as the new face of Calvin Klein’s spring campaign. Far from exaggerated glamour, the campaign focuses on something much simpler — and perhaps more powerful — naturalness. Wearing classic denim and minimalist underwear — and in some scenes even going without — Dakota Johnson shows that a relaxed attitude can be just as seductive as the role that made her a global phenomenon in Fifty Shades of Grey.

The campaign, directed and photographed by Gordon von Steiner, gives us a glimpse into a typical day in the actress’s home. No big productions or impossible settings. Just a sofa, quiet moments and a protagonist who moves with total ease. The result is a mixture of sensuality and a touch of playfulness, as if you were witnessing an intimate moment… but with a lot of style.

When it comes to garments, the collection focuses on pieces designed to feel good from the moment you put them on. The Ultralight and Icon Cotton Modal lines offer a light and comfortable feel, almost like a second skin. There is also the Perfectly Fit Ultralight Bra, which incorporates spacer cup technology to provide lightness without compromising on shape.

In the denim arena, 90s silhouettes are making a strong comeback with the Archive High Rise Slim Jean, a design reminiscent of Jane Birkin’s relaxed and timeless style.
