Valentino’s most famous studded shoes are officially back. The Italian brand has just unveiled its new Valentino Garavani Rockstud collection for Pre-Fall 2026, and yes, they’re more attitude-packed than ever. Under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, the classic design, first launched in 2010, returns with a fresh twist, proving that 2000s fashion is still going strong. The campaign, shot on the streets of Rome by Johnny Dufort, blends luxury, elegance and that ‘I’m just out for a stroll but I look like a film star’ vibe that fits perfectly with the Rockstud spirit.
With this comeback, Valentino revives one of its most iconic designs just as nostalgia for the 2010s is once again dominating the fashion scene. The new version retains the legendary studs that made the model famous, but adds more modern and sharp details. The shoes feature a pointed toe, metallic finishes and Valentino’s classic red sole. What’s more, there are options to suit all tastes, from high heels for those who want to make a statement to more comfortable versions for getting through the day without sacrificing style.
When it comes to colours, Valentino has pulled out all the stops. The collection blends neutral, elegant tones with much bolder choices such as bright green or ice blue, perfect for those who want their shoes to do the talking. And if heels aren’t your thing, there are also sandals and ballet flats featuring the same sophisticated punk aesthetic.
The new collection is now available on Valentino’s official website.
