Matthieu Blazy’s first Métiers d’Art campaign

Driven by the energy of a cosmopolitan city and built on the intersection of identities and eclectic personalities.

“I like the idea that fashion lets you be whoever you want to be. It’s like inventing your own superpowers”. With this statement, Matthieu Blazy opens a new chapter in the history of CHANEL, doing so through a collection that revisits the Maison’s codes with a far more cinematic lens than usual.

In it, fashion is explored as a tool for transformation, where the everyday and the extraordinary constantly meet in the same dialogue, filled with refreshed essentials and pieces crafted with far more exquisite detail.

The creative director reimagines some of CHANEL’s most recognizable symbols through his own sensibility, offering a new take on the iconic suit—now freer and more relaxed—or the two-tone shoes, where pearls and camellias emerge, transformed by dynamism.

The collection moves between decades and archetypes with a distinctly cinematic aesthetic: from the 1920s to the 2020s, as different versions of the CHANEL woman unfold.
