Yesterday morning, we headed to the island with the aim of experiencing the brand’s latest offering firsthand. A collection that celebrates love, art, freedom, nostalgia, and, of course, one of the most iconic archives in international fashion.

There could be no better setting for the launch of ‘Desigual Vintage’ than Ibiza. Because if this new stage of the brand makes anything clear, it’s that to understand where it’s going, one must first return to where it all began. And Ibiza was the starting point for DESIGUAL.
Immersed in the island’s hedonistic spirit, and surrounded by magical nature that amplified every detail of the experience, we arrived at the impressive venue chosen for this very special occasion. There, a golden path — in true Wizard of Oz style — guided us towards an imposing circular table where, hours later, the magic would unfold.
The reason for the celebration was twofold. On one hand, DESIGUAL commemorated the 40th anniversary of the opening of its first store in Ibiza, inaugurated in 1986, and on the other, it officially presented ‘Desigual Vintage’, a limited-edition collection that revives and reinterprets some of its most iconic garments, prints, and silhouettes from its history. Maximalism, boundless creativity, daring, color, Y2K aesthetics, and what is called emotional dressing are more present than ever, even more so than at the beginning.

The evening revolved around the message Love Is The Answer, a concept that has accompanied the brand for decades and which in Ibiza has acquired a new dimension through a music and movement performance conceived by the collective People Watching. Its protagonists wore and showcased the pieces from ‘Desigual Vintage’, while also surprising with a visual narrative that reminded us that love remains a possible answer to conflict.
Among the attendees were some of the most relevant personalities on the current international scene. From Irina Shayk — whose presence was especially symbolic after having collaborated with the brand more than a decade ago — to Demi Lovato, Zara Larsson, Ester Expósito, Vivian Jenna Wilson, and Nicki Nicole. Alongside them, content creators such as Valentina Ferragni, Maria Pombo, Violeta Mangriñán, Sara Baceiredo, Paola Locatelli, Rita Montezuma, and Carlota Weber, among many others, gathered to celebrate this return to origins.
