The snake, a powerful symbol in traditional Chinese culture, is believed to embody wisdom, elegance and transformation; kindred values shared with the 1774 design spirit that come together to usher in a New Year of joy and prosperity.

The collection features new variations of three classic shapes reinvented for the occasion: Arizona and Florida are redesigned in luxurious Italian leather with python-embossed all-over, while Tokyo is revisited in contrasting combinations of soft suede with python-embossed leather details, all lined in soft nappa leather. The collection’s colours accentuate the vibrant snake patterns in beige and red with BIRKENSTOCK’s signature anatomical footbed covered in black leather, and each pair is adorned with distinctive 1774 buckles in gold or silver finishes.

This exclusive capsule builds on 1774’s reputation for excellent quality and craftsmanship when updating classic BIRKENSTOCK models, further elevating their creative and artisanal heritage. Manufactured in their German workshop, materials, finishes and custom details are carefully applied to each silhouette to create new and essential icons.
