A Rolex marked by flies.
M*** Shakes draws attention once again with a new drop that places more emphasis on the idea than on the object itself. The brand driven by content creator Nil Ojeda presents “Time Flies”, an action centred on a 2020 Rolex Oyster Perpetual that has been altered by flies and turned into a one-of-a-kind piece. Rather than focusing on luxury, the proposal uses the exclusive watch to reflect on wear, the passage of time and the lack of control over its progress.
The intervention does not follow conventional paths. This watch was placed in a controlled environment where flies, fed with colourants, left marks by expelling an acidic, digestive fluid. The result is entirely random and organic. That is precisely the point: the final finish is neither designed nor decided, it simply happens. All of this reinforces the idea that time stains, erodes and moves forward without asking permission.
There is no direct purchase option to obtain the piece. Access is granted through a notarised raffle scheduled for 2 February 2026. Each entry costs €3 and can be purchased through the brand’s website. For now, the total number of entries has not been disclosed.
Beyond the watch itself, the action fits with M*** Shakes’ usual way of operating, based on drops designed to spark conversation and spread quickly across social media. The product takes a back seat and works almost as an excuse. What really matters is the narrative built around it, the action itself and the brand’s ability to activate its community and once again place itself at the centre of Spanish streetwear.
Nil Ojeda advocates for dog adoption in the latest Milfshakes drop.
