A T-shirt 108.96 m long and 73.48 m wide has broken the Guinness World Record for the largest T-shirt in the world.
Asociatia 11even, Kaufland Romania and Federatia Romana presented it at the end of March in Bucharest (Romania) with the intention of encouraging people to recycle; more than 500,000 plastic bottles were used to make the shirt. It features the three colors of the national flag also worn by the Romanian rugby team’s jersey.
It took specialized seamstresses, engineers and local supermarkets a whole month to make the garment, which is larger than the size of a rugby field. After breaking the record, the jersey has been reused and divided into 10,000 garments to be donated to children in disadvantaged situations.
In case you missed it, The Weeknd is the most popular artist in the world according to Guinness World Records.
