Entitled ‘Dead Homies’, A$AP Ferg has paid tribute to some of his dearest departed loved ones, including Virgil Abloh, Takeoff and A$AP Yam, by inlaying their faces into the grillz veneers. Each of the mini-portraits is framed in gold and designed by Gabby Elan, one of dental jewellery’s most acclaimed creatives.
The rapper wore the exclusive piece during his visit to the exhibition ‘Ice Cold: An Exhibition of Hip-Hop Jewelry’, which has just opened at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, featuring everything from JAY-Z‘s Roc-A-Fella diamond medallion to Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Barbie’ pendant, Slick Rick‘s gem-encrusted crown and treasures from the personal collections of A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, Tyler The Creator, Erykah Badu and Joey Bada$$.
