Absolut pays tribute to the legacy of Keith Haring with the launch of Absolut Haring, a limited edition that revives the energy and free spirit of 1980s pop art. The Swedish brand, true to its commitment to creativity and contemporary culture, reconnects with one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. On this occasion, it reinterprets one of the most iconic collaborations in its history.
The edition draws inspiration from the work Haring created for Absolut in 1986, the year when—on the recommendation of his friend Andy Warhol—he became the second artist to reimagine the brand’s iconic bottle. Through this reinterpretation, Absolut seeks to convey the artist’s creative drive and inclusive vision to a new generation.
Of the four artworks Haring created for the brand, one became a symbol of his unmistakable style: dancing figures on a vibrant yellow background, outlined in intense red and crowned with Absolut’s signature blue. That composition represented unity and collective joy, becoming an essential piece of the pop imagination of the 1980s.

Almost forty years later, Absolut Haring transforms that piece into a three-dimensional experience. The new bottle features the figures engraved directly onto the glass, the artist’s signature printed on the shrink film, and a hand-drawn medallion around the neck. In doing so, it reinterprets the dialogue between art and design that defined the original collaboration.
The result is a tangible work of art that combines Haring’s visual vitality — his bold lines, vivid colours, and contagious energy — with Absolut’s vision of creativity as a driving force for positive change.
A legacy that continues to inspire
“Absolut Haring excites us enormously. Few brands can truly claim to have art in their DNA and to champion artists like Haring, whose work and message are perhaps even more relevant today than we might imagine,” says Alejandro Ayala, Brand Manager at Absolut.
With this edition, Absolut reaffirms its historical bond with art and once again celebrates the idea that guided Haring:“art is for everyone.”
