Acne Studios reconnects with multidisciplinary artist Jonathan Lyndon Chase

Aiming to offer a capsule that blurs the lines between art, fashion and sensory experience.

Coinciding with Frieze New York 2025, the Swedish fashion house has decided to transform its flagship store on Greene Street into a denim temple of non-normative bodies. Thus, until 11 May, the SoHo space becomes a gallery with a life of its own through an eclectic selection of new and unpublished works by the Philadelphia artist that will coexist with garments from the Acne Studios Loves Jonathan Lyndon Chase line.

In this collection, the iconic Acne Studios bow mutates under Chase‘s vibrant, emotional stroke, wrapped in intertwined bodies, sheltering gazes and an overtly vulnerable aesthetic. The 1981 jeans are reinterpreted, shirts take on an intimate diary style, and a blanket and cushions act as witnesses to affection. All under an illusion of denim that is not real: it is a reinterpretation of the brand’s founding fabric.

All pieces are available exclusively at Acne Studios Greene Street. They will be arriving in selected brand stores and on the official website at the end of June.
