ACROMATYX presents the collection 006 MODERN POETRY

006 MODERN POETRY SPRING 25 is a minimalist and delicate collection, in which the inside of the pieces – seams, cuts, piping and lining – are revealed on the outside as garments conceived inside out or reversible. The full-bleed cuts with a ripped effect give rise to pieces with an unfinished appearance or with stitching that forms part of the decoration of each garment. Faithful to the house’s hallmarks, ACROMATYX is committed to deconstructed and oversized silhouettes as opposed to other tight-fitting and unbalanced proportions with giant pockets and the reuse of fabrics.

‘Seeing the inside of the pieces is like seeing the soul, so in this collection we show the inside and the process of creating garments that look unfinished alongside others that are finished, from a futuristic vision, wanting to show the most delicate and feminine part of the person without being afraid of being fragile’, say Xavi García and Franx de Cristal, creative directors of ACROMATYX.

The show was attended, among others, by Samantha Hudson, Andrés Gallardo, Raquel Sánchez Silva, Arantxa Castilla la Mancha, Okuda, Unax Ugalde, Modesto Lomba, Laura Vandall, Penélope Guerrero, Ivato, Luna Ki, Mister Piro, Guiomar Puerta, Ela Muore, Guillermo Décimo, Cesar Cesarone, among others.

In addition to black, the house’s colour par excellence, pastel pink, white and metallic appear in fabrics such as wool, cotton, organza, chiffon, silk, knit, graviti, metallic and retor. As for the finishes, the visible seams with contrasting threads stand out. ‘The garments, formed by seams that, like scars joining pieces of fabric, become our second skin, covering and protecting us from the outside to help us express who we are’, say the designers.

In this collection, the firm presents a bag model with pure lines, made of leather in three tones, black, white and metallic, with a die-cut logo and XL handle, which is already on sale at acromatyx.com. To complete the looks, ACROMATYX collaborates in this collection with the jeweller Andrés Gallardo, for the delicacy, sweetness and poetry that he imprints on his pieces conceived from the fragility of porcelain. The florist Elena Suárez & Co. has also participated in this show.

ACROMATYX is the natural evolution of 44Studio, a Spanish firm with which 10 years ago its founders, Xavi García and Franx de Cristal, landed in the world of fashion to show a new aesthetic, elegant and avant-garde concept.
