adidas celebrates Disney’s 100th anniversary with this Samba

Disney is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. To celebrate it, they have decided to collaborate with adidas and launch two Sambas inspired by their most iconic characters: Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

The collaboration in honour of Disney’s 100th anniversary takes on one of the sports brand’s most iconic silhouettes: the Samba. The two Disney-designed models are made from vegan materials. The Mickey silhouette comes in a total white look with black details. The highlight is the mouse’s hand in the shape of a half heart.

Minnie’s design maintains a similar minimalist aesthetic in white leather, but includes red piping. Minnie’s hand also forms half of a heart, making the two shoes create a complete heart when placed side by side. Both models feature the adidas logo on the tongue and the Samba logo on the toe.

The Disney x adidas Samba Vegan “Mickey and Minnie Mouse” collaboration will launch on 27 April in adidas shops.
