adidas is preparing to launch a series of Samba sneakers from its Consortium Cup line in the wake of a contest won by British retailer Offspring in March.

Among the Samba that will be part of the expected collection are collaborations with Nice Kicks, Extra Butter and semi-finalist Sneaker Politics.

The initial sneaker in this collection is the vibrant model designed by Sneaker Politics, featuring a blue nylon upper accompanied by navy suede overlays. Bright red leather accents adorn the iconic adidas stripes, as well as heel elements that blend harmoniously with the sneaker’s green suede tongue logo.

Instead of the classic “SAMBA” lettering in white letters, these Samba’s feature the golden word “POLITICS”. They also feature a Consortium Cup hang tag, as well as an inner lining and insole with a striking leopard print that adds a touch of sophistication to this high-top sneaker.

If you plan on getting your hands on a pair of the Sneaker Politics x adidas Samba “Consortium Cup”, the date to mark on your calendar is November 15. The sneakers will go on sale through the official Sneaker Politics website, priced at $120 USD (about 112 euros). So far, no further information has been provided on the releases of the other Sambas in the Consortium Cup collection.

On the other hand, we already have a first preview of Prada x adidas by Jerry Lorenzo.
