A silhouette designed for the pitch that updates one of the most powerful symbols of football culture.
adidas is proud to present the most ambitious evolution of its most iconic franchise: a redesign that looks squarely to the future without losing a single millimetre of the DNA that made Predator a legend.
The proposal is based on a very clear premise: modern players dominate the game through precision, intuition and the ability to transform the slightest opportunity into a decisive play. To meet this demand, adidas has built the new Predator around a completely revamped lightweight architecture, where each element functions as a natural extension of the foot.
The return of the POWERSPINE—a lightweight, full-length plate integrated into the sole—changes everything. This structure provides stability in the midfoot and unleashes more power when striking, expanding the energy transfer zone. At the same time, the brand introduces NANOSTRIKE+, a redesigned mesh upper that combines softness, ultra-low weight and discreetly integrated grip elements for a much more precise touch. The material adapts to the foot with an almost instinctive fit, making the boot respond like a highly engineered mechanism.
The base is completed with the new STRIKEFRAME, a stud configuration optimised to improve traction and facilitate those turns that define decisive plays. And, as a nostalgic but functional nod to the past, the foldable tongue returns. A uniform striking surface that connects the past and the future with the same naturalness with which Predator has remained at the elite level for decades.
Other technical details, such as breathable mesh with microfibre lining and a PRIMEKNIT collar, consolidate this evolution. Visually, the new Predator brings back Gunmetal, an iconic shade that hasn’t been seen since 2003 and makes the silhouette an object of desire both on and off the pitch. The metallic silver three stripes and infrared details reinforce the unmistakable presence of a silhouette that will be worn by big stars such as Jude Bellingham, Aitana Bonmatí, Pedri and Trent Alexander-Arnold, among others.
