Emerald Fennell’s bold new adaptation is transcending fiction to become a tangible experience.

The “Wuthering Heights” phenomenon is no longer limited to the big screen. Even before its theatrical release on 13 February, the film starring Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie is reaching fans in an unexpected way. Airbnb has decided to bring this intense, wild and deeply dramatic love story to life for the public.
The platform has created an exclusive stay in Cathy‘s room at Thrushcross Grange, located in the heart of West Yorkshire, the Brontë region where much of the film was shot. It offers a complete immersion in the romantic and dark universe of this new version of Wuthering Heights. The space is designed to be almost like another character in the story.
Directly inspired by the aesthetics of the feature film, the room channels Cathy‘s emotional intensity: skin-toned walls, overlapping textures and deeply symbolic details—from strands of hair woven into the table to organic patterns on the cushions evoking beating windows—form a feverish ode devised by Edgar Linton in honour of his wife. Sleeping here is a direct invitation to enter the mind of Cathy Earnshaw.

The stay is part of a cinematic and sensory experience created around the film’s darkly romantic narrative. Selected guests will enjoy a carefully designed itinerary that connects with the landscape, culture and literary heritage of West Yorkshire: a horse ride across the moors, afternoon tea, an intimate candlelit dinner in the dining room at Thrushcross Grange, a private listening party for Charli XCX‘s album “Wuthering Heights” (and a complimentary vinyl copy), a night in Cathy‘s room, breakfast of eggs and “soldier” toast, and a visit to the Brontë parsonage.
The cultural impact of the remake is already measurable. According to data from Airbnb, interest in the region has skyrocketed, with global searches for West Yorkshire for Valentine’s Day weekend up 24% from last year, and among younger travellers the increase reaches 59%.
Cathy‘s room will be available for three separate stays, for up to two guests each, between 27 February and 4 March. The experience is completely free and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner (transport is not included). Booking requests will open on 20 February via this link and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
